Hi Maarten 6 weeks away and so much new to discover, neat work as I'm used to from you.
Finally the deck constructiin is finished. Next will be the hanging knees.
I appreciate the precision of your work here Maarten. Would have been easy to be sloppy with all those little strips but you have managed to keep everything lined up perfectly creating a very esthetic result. I may just have a POF ship in my future...looks like fun.
That's precisely the dilemma. I have the Blandford as well as the Kingfisher - but now that I have been following Uwe's work on the Granado... If you have some thoughts on this perhaps you could guide me???Thx gents

I love the Kingfisher, that is a unique model in boxwood certainly look forward to that build.
But if you want guidence on your first POF then you can better get experience on the blandfort or grenado as others build it simultaniously.

I agree with you on the Kingfisher Maarten. If I were into anything other than the WB and I had the Kingfisher in my possession, I wouldn't even consider the other options and with @dockattner Paul's talent, I am sure he will be more than up to the build.

The last syep on the deck construction are the hanging knees.
Before installation I add bolts to the knees.
Then glued in place with PVA, fot me easily accesible as I cut my hull in half.
The PS side is now almost finished.

Hello Maarten, it is once again a feast for the eyes.
Very nice and accurate build with all those joints, Maarten. And indeed, adding the knees is easy on a ‘cutted’ hull.

Think you missed that you are looking at the bottom of the deck. I cut my ship horizontally in half.
