Hms Alert by Maarten [COMPLETED BUILD]

I appreciate the precision of your work here Maarten. Would have been easy to be sloppy with all those little strips but you have managed to keep everything lined up perfectly creating a very esthetic result. I may just have a POF ship in my future...looks like fun.

Thx gents
Paul thought you already ordered the Granado? :)

The last syep on the deck construction are the hanging knees.

Before installation I add bolts to the knees.

Then glued in place with PVA, fot me easily accesible as I cut my hull in half.

Very nice and accurate build with all those joints, Maarten. And indeed, adding the knees is easy on a ‘cutted’ hull. :)
Regards, Peter
