HMS Cutty Sark

Great build! "HMS" normally indicates a ship commissioned in the British Navy. The Cutty Sark was a British clipper ship built in Dumbarton, Scotland in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line. As such she was a privately owned ship and not commissioned. Thanks for your postings...well done!

Hi Jimmy, nice build and great planking. Because the AL instructions are limited and the pictures bad, I took the instructions book apart and scanned each page.
Now I can enlarge them on the computer, which is a great help. If you need some, I´m happy to mail them to you.
Kind regards, John.

Hallo Jimmy,
we wish you all the BEST and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Like Zoly mentioned already - would be great to see some update on your build of the Cutty Sark - you were already on a very good track, especially it is your first model, as I understood
