这就是我在做什么。这也是中国的一套,但我用梨木代替了所有木头。我做了自己的零件

google translation:
This is what I am doing. This is also a set in China, but I replaced all the wood with pear wood. I made my own parts

I had my doubts, that this is a really a kit ......
Translating the introduction sentence it is mentioned, that all the timber which was used is pear wood, and this can be clearly seen not only with the planking.
Already the keel and stem is already done in Pear, so it seems, that only the bulkheads were used.
It my opinion it is more or less a scratch build model of the HMS Diana.
And very good executed - Great

Thank you. The purpose of making this ship is to accumulate production experience for the next ship is HMS_PANDORA. I'm going to make the next ship. When I saw her at first sight, I was fascinated by her. Of course, I didn't make ribs, just the external shape

I have one question to your coppering, which is looking very good and technically / historical very correct, also in the dimensions of nail size and distance of the nails, so scale correct!!!

Can you show or tell us more in detail, how you made the sheeting plates and how you installed them?

Hello, this copper foil is produced by Shicheng model company. It's very thin and has its own back glue. It needs to be cut when it is used. There are about 500 pieces of copper foil in a roll

Many Thanks for this information - they are looking very good, also for the handling with the self-adhesive foil. And we can see, that they offer these foils in different scales / sizes also -> Now the question, how to handle taobao....

comparing them with the typical plates in the contents of kits (see following photo)- a big difference in the quality and the correctness

Better than nothing, but we see, that it could be much better done - and I am sure the foil at the end would cost less.......

Many Thanks for sharing this with us

The Copper tape is of great interest to me as you can get it in the scale of 1/96.Gents,after some digging I have found that this is available through Zhl.Currently though, due to Covid fittings/materials are currently unavailable, but I should imagine normal service will resume when things get back to normal.

Kind Regards

Nigel
