Had some spare time so I thought I would try making some railings not looking too bad, just need
to tweak the next ones a little bit.

Wow, it's looking really fantastic! Great job!
One thing though.... I found this out during research for my own project recently... Hood never had a red bottom (boy, was I surprised). It was always either grey or black as that is all that the Peacock & Buchan's anti-fouling paint was supplied in.

Check out under "Below Waterline" section about 1/3 of the way down (although they do point out at the top to make any changes you want to make sure you are happy with your model, which is a great approach.

bit more worked out ,made the first of four gun turrets, just have to calibrate the servo to get full 180 degree movement

This is really neat. I love it when the guns can move around.

the hull is not quite the right shape, will get the next one right ,but overall I am reasonably happy, the Hood had so many small changes and refits through the years it is sometimes hard to know which one you are building.

It looks great! No one will ever complain about the hull shape. I can't wait to see it on the water : )
