This was my first restoration. A retired couple had this HMS Prince that had been in a hurricane and they had it apparently for a very long time. Since I am a member of the "Nexdoor" app in my neighborhood, I had posted the work I had done on the San Felipe. This couple contacted me in that same day asking to evaluate their model. It is a small model at about
550 mm in length and I have no idea what scale it is. I can't even find what model manufacture this belongs to. It seems to be part wooden and plastic.
1) 90% had to be repainted.
2) about 20% of rigging redone.
3) Bowsprit was broken in half
4) upper Bowsprit was broken in half.
5) 90% of all canons and lids had to be remade from scratch
6) 50% of the anchors remade from scratch

Unfortunately, I only have one image showing some details of before. I wish I had documented more, but I did not have time. About 35 hours was spent on project. We do not have a category or forum for restorations, so I posted here.

Very nice renovation Donnie, I had one exactly like yours, mine was the Aerropicolo model and I believe it was 1/144 scale,

Best regards John,
