Bridge and platforms slowly taking shape. Smallest 3pdr Hotchkisses, rangefinders, and navigational equipment I've ever made. Compass platform even in wood :)

Daft question......has the old 'FROG' kit got anything to do with this?

Not that a daft question. And yes, I use the old Frog kit as reference, although I build the 1917 version of the ship, while the Frog gives the 1944 rebuild. But handy for size and layout comparison

Update on HMS Ramillies. WIP. The superstructure is nearing completion. Boats, crane, masts and platforms made, and most of the rigging fitted, including the wireless antennae. Welcomed also the first of the crew aboard. Soon I can start with the big guns...

What a busy little ship, it does look like someone built it.....from the heart.

And suddenly she's a battleship, with all of her 8 15" guns fitted. In her full 1917/18 Art Deco splendour. Aft more railings and boarding ladders have to be fitted, as well as more crew, And her anchorage diorama Still lots to do, but there is some real progress...
