HMS Royal Caroline 1/72

G'day Sergey from the Land Downunder-Australia
Good to see another Royal Caroline build. And a scratched build, you are a very brave man to do this bold from scratch with all it's beautiful carvings.
I will be watching front and centre on this build, I'm very, very interested in this yacht because I'm building a 1:30 scale of the Royal Caroline myself, but from a ZHL kit.

There are also two other RC being build by Neptune and Maarten on SOS. Have a look at all of them. Neptune, his name is John and Maarten are way ahead of me, as I'm just starting.
It would be good if you can write down the way you approach your build and your thoughts etc. Don't worry if you can't read or write in English, just write in your Ukrainian language and use Google Translates to translate it into English. That is how I wrote this entry to you.

Добре бачити ще одну будівлю Королівської Кароліни. І скретченими збірками, ти дуже мужній людина, щоб зробити це сміливо з нуля з усіма красивими різьбленнями.
Я буду спостерігати вперед і зосередитися на цій будівлі, я дуже, дуже зацікавлена в цій яхті, тому що я будую масштаб 1:30 Royal Caroline сам, але з комплекту ZHL.

Very interesting start of your model. Never thought to use parquet for the bulkheads, but very good idea.

Thanks so much that you like my topic, that's NO PROBLEM if you will use only ENGLISH, i'm seaman with 17 years experience and i have almost fluent knowledge with english language))) also will follow you topic with Royal Caroline 1749, and wish you all the best with construction))

Do you take parts with you onboard when you are at sea?
I have been sailing myself in the past and sometimes build very small models from materials available onboard.

Hi Maarten the carvings actually will be made from wax and die cast from silver or brass, previously i was dental technician and yes i will take on board all tools for modeling ))
See my other topik with Brigantine Phoenix from the kit, that my last work onboard 4 mouth ))
 
Following this one with great interest. Looking forward to see the wax and cast from brass. Do you melt the brass and if you do how do you melt it tried to melt lead from my fishing gear but wasnt clean when melted. Tried some brass wire to melt but it only went red and was the same shape after cooling down.
 
wery interesting build you are doing, looking forvard to se how you will do this dentalwax casting.

A very impressive start? Considering it is almost the end of the year. Will watch with great enthusiasm. What kind of wood this parquet is?
