Hello,
This brig represents the first ship captained by Jack Aubrey, star of the series of novels written by Patrick O'Brian, which led to the famous film Master and Commander. Since, according to the novel, it is a ship captured from the Spanish and has the distinctive feature of a small quarterdeck, we used the plans for the brig Gargo by Romero Landa, from 1787. They perfectly match the description in the novel. We haven't forgotten to add some details described in the book, such as the elm pump on the forecastle.
My friend Leopoldo helped me a lot and redesign the plans to fit with the model.

The construction with bulks was made keel up and the boats with mold and the hull with paper.
