hms victory 1.100scale

hi all
I am after some help, new to this hobby ,well not done any thing for quiet a few years
jumping in feet first, ive started theeeeee ship hms victory 1.100scale.
I am trying to find out how to go about beefing up the inside walls, I know to make the gun ports look thicker by adding strips around the ports, this on it own dose not look very pleasing to the eye , am I wright in doing the following adding styrene card to make the walls 2mm thick.

Is this the Heller plastic model? That is the only one I know that make it at this scale. If so, you can use plastic or some thin walnut.

hi Gary thanks for getting back to me over hms victory. its not only heller all so airfix, the instructions are some sort of joke, need a crystal ball I think. I think I shall be having a go with evergreen styrene sheets to finish this part of the build.
