Good morning Shota. Thank you, it is much appreciated. Cheers GrantDear Grant

Good morning Johan…and a monk I am notThis rigging job you committed yourself to is true monk's work. I applaud your patience.
Good morning. Thanks. I think if us crazy modellers did not have humour our ships would be used as kindling for a Sunday braai.… Cheers GrantGood morning Grant or in your case Good Evening - I never cease to be amazed and inspired by your work. So clean, precise and obviously carried out with the 'Patience of Job'. I detect also, with just a little bit of humour. Looking forward to future updates. Cheers.
It are the tiny details that make the ship alive, Grant.Good morning.
Made some kevels for the top yard tyes.

While waiting for the glue to dry I attempted to make some rope coils for the poop deck cleats. They are faux coils. Untidy and inconsistent….non the less I am happy with them.

Good morning. Thanks Heinrich, @RogerD , Roger, @KeithLyall , Keith , @Peter Voogt , Peter for your interest and comments. Cheers GrantHi Grant. Sometimes our progress slows down to a crawling pace due to time restraints, but it remains progress nonetheless and your rigging on the foremast looks superb.
Looking at this picture I will need to redo the portside coil on the flag box at the stern. It is too large. Funny when looking at the ship with the naked eye it does not jump out at you.....luckily we have photos for redo's.....I thinkGood morning.

I do enjoy those coils and maybe especially so because they're not artificially tidy.Good morning.

Oh, this is so going to bite you!my new credo: no more do-overs!
Good morning Paul. That is a coincidence. My first Hanks are very uniform and very unrealistic. I decided I am going to mix them up, make them more untidy and use different tie off's etc. If I continued with every Hank looking the same it would just look "weird" (best description I could think of). My coils just come out looser - I tried to make them really neat (didnt workNotwithstanding the size issue - I really like the looser/freeform coils. I have increasingly become sloppy (not the right word, but I think you know what I mean) as I have moved into the sails and rope hanks stage of my build. I've even been thinking I need to go back and re-do the rope coils of my armament but that would be a violation of my new credo: no more do-overs!
Good morning Johan......Pauls redo aspects are my perfect.Oh, this is so going to bite you!![]()
Hello Johan - true story so maybe it shall remain thereI do enjoy those coils and maybe especially so because they're not artificially tidy.
Redoing the one coil? If it's the not-so-tidy look you're after? Your call, but you reckon all these ropes were equally long?
Some job Grant Cheers JJ.Good morning . Thanks Jan @Pathfinder65 , Mark @Nomad , Johan @RDN1954 .
Very little build time on the Victory this week.
I did manage to start rigging the foremast yards- the parrals, tyes and topping lifts. A hash mash of rope at present as nothing is tied off.

The rigging is the same as the main mast so once done I will just send some pics.
Cheers Grant
