New forum feature How to Export Your Thread to PDF file

Thanks for this heads-up, Daniel. I use a PC but will check my downloads from time to time to see if something happens. I also only have the free reader version. I save Word files to .pdf all the time and have never had an issue but checking seems wise.
Paul, This weekend I checked my downloaded files on the phone and they are all bad. After a few pages the images are gone. Only text remains. I deleted the pdf reader app and reinstalled it, the issue continue. I used other pdf reader apps and same issue. I will try with the PC during the week and will report back.

Best
Daniel

And when I am home later today I'll check my downloads as well. I have them saved to a PC.

Hi Daniel, I checked and my .pdf downloads remain intact with all dialogue and pictures.

My browser is Microsoft Edge and I used the print option to "download to PDF".

If you give the export command to create the PDF and your report is quite large with many photos, it is advisable to scroll through the file while it is being created. Then, after a certain number of pages, you will see that it is still busy downloading and adding the photos.
If you save it too early, not all photos will have been added yet. And there will be missing photos when you open the PDF later.
At least, that was my experience with my two large 100+ page reports.
Regards, Peter

Hi Paul

On my phone and computer I always used Microsoft Chrome and I too use the print option to download as pdf.

I will see if there is a Microsoft Edge app for Android. The phone is something i have always with me. The PC isn't comfortable to check info when working at the bench. Let see.... I will get back and report.

Thank you Paul !!!!!

Hi Paul and Peter... I have good news !!! Dowloaded the Microsoft Edge app for Android. And download one of the built logs i was having issue. The Bonhomme Richard cross section by Uwek, AND WORKED !!!!!

Peter, I thought about that. I can only print to pdf "on both internet app, when the log shows as "downloaded" and allows me to open the printer software. I can say tgat with Edge, the built log was very fast !! . I will continue testing with other build logs.

See attached images. On the left the Chrome pdf file and on the right the Edge pdf file Same page on both.

I will download again the build logs and will report back.

Cheers and thank you for your tips and help !!!

Daniel

The same happened to me when i exported a build all i got was a few pictures and a lot of blank pages. I tried it again and the second time i got everything.

Great news, Daniel. Beware the size of these documents relative to the capacity of your phone. My photo dense Vasa .pdf download was over 410 MB! Kingfisher about 350 MB.
You are correct. On July will be the launch of the Zfold8 and I think I will try to get the 1 Terabytes model for ~ $200 more. :-) This foldable phone is something amazing and I can't stop using it. Beside my taxes, I don't use the PC anymore.
