How to resize or scale from plans or monographs spreadsheet example

I have concentrated of making ships boats for the past few years and often scale my models to suit a space based on the original plans.

To do this you only need to know

• your plans actual overall length.
• The desired overall length of the model you wish to make (either larger or smaller than the original plan length)
• The length and or width of the component you wish to make based on the original plan measurement.

From the above measurements 1 and 2 you can obtain a dimension for each and every component of from the original plan.
I have attached a simple spreadsheet that I hope is self-explanatory.

If you know the change is scale size then you can work with copier or print house to have copies made at new "needed" scale for your project.
