Hey guys & gals, thanks for having me.

I've always loved model ships, but have never tried building one before. I have the Amati Polacca kit as a first build - i was told it was a good beginner's ship. The instructions tell me otherwise lol.

I guess i was expecting step by step handholding when it came to instructions on how to build a ship, anyway i'm looking forward to puzzling this out and finally have a model of my own to put in the den.

Hi,welcome aboard ,if you can you may show off your finished model here

Also you can buy some nice kits in Calgary from this store

Hallo
also from my side a warm welcome here on board of our forum.
The best way is to start a building log and showing your work.
In this way we are able to help and assist, when ever necessary and requested

welcome. Oh the joys of 'instructions' - always read ahead and don't expect total logic!

Welcome aboard! Read the instructions, look at the drawings, look at the box, re-read the instructions, start, read again...All part of the fun! (Building an Amati model as well...occasionally use Google to translate from the Italian to make sure the English is close.)

Built – Mayflower (Corel Line 1:140 solid hull)
In progress – Chinese Pirate Junk (Amati 1:100 POB)

Welcome aboard and greetings from Winnipeg! Great hobby and great forum here!
Clear skies! (And, for us prairie folk - "clear skies" means "no snow" lol)
