I have now glued the the ship onto the sea and the sea onto the base,
Patrick always used to attach something to the sea, like a small Buoy or like in the case of a whaling ship he had the flukes of a whale, so on one corner of the sea there was a small piece chipped off the slate, so I cut a small piece of dowell like the end of a spar and attached a small block to it so it looks ( hopefully ) like a piece of wreckage,
Pat used plasticene for the wash around the ship's he built so I did the same,
and a close up of the spar wreckage,
