I am cataloging the various ships that my Dad made over the years. This is a picture of one that I'm having trouble identifying. Google Lens says it's the Cutty Sark, but I don't think so. Anyone?

I agree with Brian. More likely it’s a 19th-century clipper or merchant barque model, possibly based on a vessel like the Thermopylae, Cutty Sark, or a fictional clipper-style ship built for display.

The figurehead on the Cutty Sark is of a witch (Nannie) holding a handful of Meg's (Tam O Shanter's mare), tail, this ships figurehead looks like a knight holding a shield bearing the cross of St. George so unlikely to be Cutty Sark. But it does look like an old Tea Clipper model. The knight with the shield was common on some old Mamoli kits so a look at some of their old catalogues might throw something up.
It goes without saying more and better pics.. would help.
And yes Namabiiru Google Lens is a joke.

Cheers JJ..

I built the Thermopylae several years ago and the model shown
looks just like my model, therefore I agree with others that it is
most likely the Thermopylae.

Could also be the Flying Cloud if I look at the rather straight and short raised Stern and the superstructure buildings.

Kind of hard to tell from the photo but this model appears to be rigged with double topsails. Flying Cloud had single topsails.
