I've allways wanted to improve my model ships with carved fittings like I saw in some amazing models like the Santísima Trinidad in the Naval Museum of Madrid. Sooo today bought some miniatire carving tools and this came up...

it's my first one and it's not even carved in the correct wood but I have to start somewhere

I have also been to the Madrid naval museum, and I think its the best collection of ship models I have seen.
