I hate cameras. They don’t cheat. As I have been getting closer to completion of Picotee I have been going over the ship touching up the paintwork and it is surprising the bits you think you have painted but then when you look close up using a camera you see the mistakes. e.g. these stanchions, they look painted to the naked eye.
Thank you for the compliment Oktay.Benim bakış açım ile muhteşem bir model

I have come to the conclusion; that if I cannot see it ,it is not there.I hate cameras. They don’t cheat.![]()
Sound advice Jim, and I think I will go along with it.Please don't fret over the unpainted stanchion post. To me it just added another touch of perfect detail ( it could be rust) to an already perfectly detailed model.

True storyIf it wasn't for the background I'd swear it was the real thing!
Comparison pictures are always nice, Jack. She is looking very nice! This day eighty-five years ago HMS Picotee was launched after an almost record construction time of under four months. I am delighted to say that my Picotee is also completed. I was hoping to show a lot of photographs of her today but alas the ugly spectre of ill health has once again surfaced so there will be a bit of a delay. I did take this pic yesterday and I think my Picotee bears a reasonable resemblance to the real thing.

She looks great. Just shout: ‘We want more …… We want more…..’Although HMS Picotee is now completed it will be a while before I can make a stand and remove it from my workshop. So I thought I would show some more pics.. Where Picotee is sitting it is hard to photograph other than the port side,(except the first few that are older!).
