Hi there
My name is Chris and I am completely new to wooden model shipbuilding. I have just received my first kit - 1:65 Artisimia "La Nina" and do not have any instructions as they are on DVD. I wonder if there is anywhere to source these in printed form? I also need advice on the tools I require as I would like to get started on thw build this weekend. Looking forward to getting in to it and giving it a go. Nga mihi from Northland, NZ

Hallo Chris,
first of all a warm welcome here on board of our forum.
In modern times, the manufacturer are reducing their costs and include no paper manuals and drawings, but add only a DVD inside - and often the modelers do not have a DVD-drive any more
But Artesania knows about the problem and have a download service on their web-page.
So for every actual kit you can download the docs

Thanks so much Uwek - I am sure it will come in very helpful. I have the bulwarks on and the false keeel and am slightly stuck as to where to go next so will look at these later today.

How do we add current builds to our thread?

Hallo - you are welcome
to make a building log you should start here a new topic:

Here is the build so far. Note for future self, do all deck planking and sanding before attaching to the model. Also didn’t have instructions when I started so the bulwarks may not all be at 90 degrees.
