Ok after letting post glue dry over night I now have screwed in post from bottom and then attached to top with screws only.

Now I have a complete build jig ready to start installing frames and keel!

Ok more work from last nights shop time.

I now have 1/2 of first frame completed and glued. Only minor sanding on ends to get alignment with build plans. After giving it time to dry In will remove and assemble other half of frame

Spreader is not glued to frame but there to verify spacing

OK, I have a question on keel work. I show instruction talk about three pieces for keel, False Keel, Keel and Rising Wood.

So I know the false keel is attached to bottom of keel and is thin flat wood.

But is the rising wood separate on the model, or just cut into the top of the keel?

Is the rabbit at top of keel, below the rising wood, and if keel and rising wood are separate, can I just angle top of keel before attaching rising wood.

I need to get work on keel started to make sure I place frames correctly as I go.

Thanks for all the help.

OK, thanks for the clarification.

Dave sent me one piece for keel and several colored pieced for false keel, now to select and start filing to match the plans.

Ok more progress last few nights.

I had 3/32 brass tube I cut and used to mount the keel per instructions.

With keel in place I test fit frame one!

Some minor adjustments and filing but it’s there! Only eight more to go!

I am sure that you did, but 100% check to make sure that position #1 of the keel is the same as position #1 of the frame. Easy to get messed up on this.
