I think Paul mentioned this tool.



It looks like a hand vice with a metal lathe chisel or something selfmade fabrikaten from a piece of metal.
Good solution.

I use a pin vise as shown but make my own cutter for whatever profile I want using either an old razor blade or even old hack saw blades. I just shape the profile I need with a dremel tool.

Then just using it as a scraper?

Yes. It does take a bit of practice to scrape at the correct angle to achieve a smooth profile. Otherwise I get tear out and fuzzing…
