Ok this is the beginning of my build log.

I expect this build to take a year or more as I must wait to clean my workshop of other in work projects before getting along with this ship build

I am starting with the ships boat first as you will see, a project in itself!

Ok so here we begin on the cutter as it’s called on the box.

Included in the Le Coureur Kit was a ships boat kit from La Salamandre also in 1:48 scale.

So when you open the small box you get a nicely wrapped kit and simple instructions for the build.

First is the build of the Mini-jig to assemble the cutter.

A simple six sided box that glued together well with slot and tabs that only mate up one way!

I glued sides to bottom but left top loose for easier removal!

Next up is the keel which sits in slots in base board.

Birthday-Cake
we all hope, that you will have some time to work on your lugger

Happy Birthday, Kurt! Birthday-Cakefrom good old Germany.
I would love to take a good holiday in good ole Germany. I was born there when my father was in USAF at Bittburg AB.

My mother is from Wiesbaden area, but I have never been able to go visit family or see the land. My only trips in country were on travel layovers at old Rhien Main AB when I was active duty USAF!
