Hi all
I wonder if there is anybody on here can give me some advice please?
My late Step Father completed a model of the Leon, If I remember it took him well over 6 years to complete. His hobby was making miniature furniture and this ship was his pride and joy!

My intention was to donate to the National Maritime Museum here in the UK where my mother passed away.
However my mother has recently had to move into a care home for dementia which has resulted in rather large fees coming our way... So unfortunately I'm looking to raise funds by selling.

I have absolutely no knowledge regarding model building, handling a saw is my limit!
Is there anyone who could give me advice where I should look at selling? Or can point me in the right direction for advice please?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thats a very nice model, but most items for sale like this are not going to make a lot of money for you.

Hi I'll take some more photographs next time I can get over to my Mum's house. This time with a proper camera not my phone.
Does anybody know please if there are any specialist auction sites for model ships?

My late Step Father's main hobby was making minature furniture, which he used to sell at various shows around the country.
He also used to write articles for a 'Minature's' magazine based here in the UK.
At one time he did write a model making book, but I'm pretty sure it was never published. Couple of Photo's of one of the tables if anyone is interested in seeing.
