I am building the Bonavista Matthew from scratch . My plan is to leave the finished model natural wood so I decided to use cherry planking and the wales from walnut to give good contrast. Presently the deck furniture is being placed. Very exciting and challenging model. I visited Matthew in Bonavista and took lots of photos which were very helpful
Question: I have construction a rope making machine and it works good. Which kind of line is used for making rope? I am attempting using crochet cotton. Is that a good choice. Thanks for any assistance
