I'm trying to get setup to rig the shrouds on the Trumpter 1/60th. Mayflower. I need to figure out where I can purchase the TRIANGULAR deadeye strops that goes around the lower triangular deadeye for the 1620 Mayflower so I can attach the chain to the hull. Anybody have a link or source? The section I need is where the pen is pointing. Once I find a supplier, I'll match the size and go from there. Thanks

Just as a point of interest, not a suggestion, based on the dates of Mayflower, triangular shaped deadeyes would have been used, not round ones. Also multiple link chains were not commonly used until much later. She would more likely have had a strop, a single link and maybe a plate as the channels were much lower than those after the early 18th century.

Are triangular dead eyes available anywhere?
To make them to scale it may be easier to make your own. Simple tools are all that is needed. If there are aftermarket triangular deadeyes, that would be of interest though.

Have you tried Dry Dock Models and Parts for the triangular deadeyes? They are an advertiser on this site. Also, the strops should be easy enough to make yourself. If you search the fora on the site, you should find a number of discussions on how people made strops for their builds

Correct, I should have put that in the description - I'll fix it.
