beautiful boat!
The hull after several airbrushed coats of Tamyia white paint.

The painted lobster trap airbrushed with some light gray and earth tones.

Preparing to paint the inside I used some masking tape to shield the exterior from any over spray.

The inside was sprayed a dark tan.
I removed the masking tape as fast as possible to prevent the tape from ripping away the white paint. The mahogany rub rails have still not been attached.
the stained seats were again test fitted into the hull to see how the colors worked out.

Installing the mahogany rub rails. The mahogany is definitely stiffer than the boxwood but after soaking it in hot water it conformed to the sides easily.

Using Tamyia tape, I masked off the area I want painted green then hand painted 2 coats of Tamyia flat green. I needed to touch up a few areas where the green paint bled through but that went easily.
I used minwax polyacrylic to varnish the mahogany rub rails and the seats. I put in the lobster trap and oars and the boat was complete!
