Making Fisherman’s Cast Nets...

Just curious,

Anyone here ever tie their own cast nets for a fishing boat. I know I can build a jig and do it by hand but I’m thinking it will be the most time-consuming thing ever.

I didn’t have any luck finding fabricated ones at the usual model supply stores.

I would appreciate if you know of any pre-fabs available, any tips?

FYI: I know that you are all modelers and I’m prepared to absorb any gnat-stings that come my way as a result of suggesting store-bought over hand made, but this build is a gift and time sensitive.

Which scale we are talking about and which type of fish?
- I guess that these information are necessary to get a material for the net in correct scale (size of mesh)
