My current build is the Model Shipways pilot boat. (Small version) My question is this: I would like the main mast and foremast to have a 10 degree angle aft. This model is different from others I've built,, it's a carved hull without laser cut keelson. How can I make sure that the centerline and angle drilled in the hull will be the same? I ordered a miniature spirit level that would help, but hasn't arrived. The construct manual gives little attention of how to do it.
Thanks for the help

Either make a jig (as a 1.5” x 1.5” wooden block with pre drilled hole at degree you want) or use drill press with hull secured at that degree.

Make a 10 degree wedge and temporarily glue it to the deck so the drill bit will be centered where it should be. Hold the drill so the bit is against the wedge.
10 degree template is below. Print it on label paper then stick it on a half inch thick, or thereabout, piece of wood and cut the wedge. Or print it on plain paper and glue it with white glue or rubber cement to the wood then cut to the lines.
