I would assume they dropped Proxxon because the tariff charges from Germany to the U.S would make the tools expensive.
I see Sherline was manufactured in California, but would think some parts are manufactured in China.

I have and use lots of Sherline stuff. I didn’t even know that Micro Mark sold it. Deal with Sherline direct. They’re a great company.
