Hi.....
Being so inexperienced and working on a scratch model I spend most of my time thinking ahead to avoid mistakes! I want to show the interior of my model as well as the external and upper deck. I toyed with the notion of a removable panel in the side of the hull held with magnets and possibly some LED lighting. However on reflection I put my previous model a POB kit in a display case and do not have any issue with dust build up etc. On this basis there seems little point in any removable panels (over complicated and structural integrity?) as access to the model will be restricted. if in a case. Some of you more experienced modellers leave side planking and decking out to see the hold and lower decks any input greatly received.
Thank you to all who responded on hull colours (my earlier post) I was wondering what the colour was below deck, I sort of assume white washed off white and natural wood finishes etc. Can any one guide me to any books or articles on this topic?
Thanks in advance......Jeremy
