lol I got these from a man who has 3 to 400 modle ships in his house very good man just doesn’t need these things anymore. Very rich man very good friend. Who blessed me with these.Except the Bill To and Ship To names, though blurry, look nothing like Chris Hendricks. My gut tells me there’s someone out there wondering where his order went. And here it is…
Remain skeptical you want unless you’re the one wanting to buy the items or have some interest in the items it really doesn’t actually matter. The items are legit they’re not stolen. They’re good items. I have all of the information all of the proof to prove exactly where they came from everything, they are brand new in the box sealed theres some good stuff hereI’ll beg your pardon, if I accuse unjustly. Likewise, I trust you’ll excuse me if, in this day and age, I remain thoroughly skeptical.
I could probably take some stuff out of the box and show everybody but as far as all the accessories and stuff, I’m not gonna take those out of the packaging but later today, I’ll take more pictures. I just had surgery gallbladder taken out so it’s hard for me to move the boxes as why I haven’t taken better pictures.Fair enough. All that aside, your friend’s model collection sounds impressive. Would he mind sharing some photos with other enthusiasts?
He’s actually trying to sell his entire model ship collection. I can actually talk to him maybeFair enough. All that aside, your friend’s model collection sounds impressive. Would he mind sharing some photos with other enthusiasts?
Yeah, I don’t know much about model boats. Haven’t been on this website very much. That’s why I said we should do it on the website that I do have reviews on such as Mercari that way no one could get scammed.I can see both sides of this discussion - Old bloke (could be me!) needing to wind down the 'stuff' (Could be me!) and sell a tablesaw, planer, bandsaw, huge number of hand tools (Definitely me!) and also realising that all the 'stuff' I've made along the way - prototypes, finished items and such all need to go, else someone will just 'clear' the house contents.
Also - I was reading just this morning how 40% of the sales on a 'vintage clothes' site are scams, and 20% of the sellers also say they are being scammed.
Over on the OldTools list we allow sales from members in good standing - which is to say, they've been there a god while, and they have a bio published, and we've got their measure from their interaction and posts to the site. Of course, some of us go back to the last century, so we know each other very well, - but just saying..
