Very nice set of model kits, they will keep you busy for a while.

You're off to a good start. These kits have good instructions; easy to follow. Plan sheets are also good. I built all three starting after I finished a couple of other kits; also worked on some non-ship kits in-between the boats. Variety keeps things interesting and the skills learned doing one type of kit are transferable to other types.

Those three boats look like a lot of fun. Just put yourself into them and push off. The winds are seldom as scary as you think and new builds the same. Rich (PT-2)
Those frames are well done. Is the panel above each one a spacing jig for their construction of somehow a part of the dory? Out here in Western Oregon we have dories modified for more rocker, McKenzkie River Boats for running the rapids along that river and make good fishing boats to boot. I'll follow your log. An option to water which expands the wood fibers, is denatured alcohol. It is absorbed much more quickly than water and provides easy heat bending and setting without the water expansion. Just a suggestion to try sometime. Rich (PT-2)
