It dawned on me today that my interest in the old, masted sailing ships runs as far back as I can remember. I’ve watched every “Mutiny on the Bounty” version at least a half dozen times over. “Master and Commander” probably more times than that. Lately, I ordered the late 80s short series on A&E entitles “Horatio Hornblower.” -I cant get enough of it. The historical texts stand alone and I adore stories of Lord Nelson, etc, but movies provide s visual of life aboard these great ships.
