Museu de Marinha - Lisbon, Portugal

I had the privilege of visiting the Museu the Marinha in Lisbon in July this year. It is housed in a beautiful old building which is part of the Jerónimos Monastery.
A couple of pics that capture a small part of it, it is huge and I wish I had more time to take it all in.

What a beautiful museum! Obrigado Senhor! My wife gave me the 'Of course it's beautiful! It's Portuguese!' She's from Sao Miguel in the Azores, so of course there is a little playful animosity towards the mainland My father in law told me stories of the whalers and other fishermen from back in the day. Talk about derring-do! Thank you for sharing!
