I made a mistake. I forgot to include the smaller kits by both Revell and Monogram. Revell's kit, at 1/196, is a very nice kit depicting the ship during the 1830s with the Andrew Jackson figurehead. The Monogram kit is slightly smaller but is nowhere near the quality of the Revell kit. It even has the yards growing out of the masts! However, they are easily corrected with a little patience. Also, I don't know which period the kit portrays. It is definitely worth following this thread!
