I used 0,6mm for the normal hull planking and 0,7mm for the wales
We had some talks about the nailing or better bolting of the outer hull planking in my building log.
Be aware, that I made the complete nailing after I completed the planking. Also the markings for the correct nail position I made afterwards.
There are pros and cons refering the order when to do. I think now, that it is maybe better to make the marks of the correct nail position directly with the planking. Afterwards it is not so easy to find the correct location where the frames are.....
I know f.e. that Adi made the nailing parallel with the planking
and he used copper wire and no nails....
