I started building a tug boat while working on the Midwest Chesapeake Bay Flattie. I wanted a change from the types of builds I had been doing.
This kit used a build board, which I'm not a fan of, and the instruction book was missing a number of steps. Despite these issues, this was probably my favorite build kit.
I just finished it today and thought I'd share some pictures of the process. One thing to note: I decided to try it after reading a lot and watching several videos where CA glue was used throughout the entire build. Other than getting my finger stuck to itself, things went quite smoothly. Using CA glue allowed me to move quickly to other parts. However, white glue allows for repositioning before it dries, so I think it's better for my use.
Anyway, here are some photos and the finished build.
