The SC Living Magazine did an article on me recently and ever since I have been receiving calls regarding model ships. One Gentleman just sent me some photos of a model that has been in his family since the 1940s or 1950s. Its origin may be Germany as it was a gift from a German to the family. His question is "Which ship is it" and "How much is it worth?" I have no idea on either question. Can anyone out there identify the ship and possibly put a worth to it. It does not appear to be one that was built by a modeler but more like some of the ones seen in specialty shops. I would appreciate any help that I can get to respond to the Gentleman.
