Neptune of movie Pirates

Currently visiting Genua for a quick bussiness trip.
Here in the old harbour the neptune is docked which was build for Roman Polanski movie Pirates of 1986.
The ship has a steel core and masts and plated with wood. All outside carvings are fiberglass.
For a decor piece not to bad, as historic accuracy it is a toy but fun to visit if you are in Genua.
Time is not doing her much good, but it looks some restauration works are in progress.

In port there was also a sailing portugese noa replica.
I don t know the history of this ship.

Spanish Nao Trinidad, with actual Spanish Flag and ancient Castilla and Leon flags. No portuguese.
The replica of the flagship of Magallanes - Elcano's expedition. Five ships departed Spain in 1519 but only the nao Victoria, commanded by Elcano returned in 1521 being the first ship to successfully circumnavigate the world.
