So I put about 11 hours over three days into the model and I am enjoying the build so far.I looked ahead and am not crazy about some of the detail parts of the kit so I will be looking for substitutes.Here are a couple of photos.
Are those 4 bundles from the kit, or is this something you did?
I cut them they are for the decking instead of drawing the joints.
Some more work done nothing to interesting just dry fit sub decks and started finish decking.

I completed the decking I am not adding the deck nails because at this scale I really dont think they would be visible anyway.
Good evening. All looking good for sure. I was looking at some pictures of the Amerigo Vespucci and it has so many fittings, deck “clutter “ etc. it is going to make for an interesting model. Looking forward. Cheers Grant
Yep there is quite a bit going on that deck makes for an interesting build hope it all fits.

A little bit more progress on the planking with the ship being so large the planking seems to be easier.

Instructions are good lumber is good quality lazar cut parts are accurate the only real complaint I have are their rail stanchons they are flat stamped brass and really cheap looking I always get new ones from caldorcraft.
