Hello, I would like to introduce myself to the Forum. My name is Owen, I live in Ontario and am new to ship building. I have purchased kits from Occre of the Terror and the Erebus. I have started the Terror build and am at the planking stage. I am taking my time and learning as I go...which lead me to this Forum. I hope to post as I make progress but for now will be spending most of my time researching and building.
For now, best wishes and thanks for the resource.

Welcome to the forum and glad your having fun.

Please post a build log so we can follow along and provide guidance and assistance as needed.

There are several good members of the forum in your area, you may reach out to them if needed.

Dry Dock is a member owned parts and kit supplier and he is from your neck of the woods.

He would be a great contact for advise and upgrade or replacement fittings, line and other items.

Welcome Owen. Good luck with these projects. Both are iconic ships and you should enjoy building them. Occre, in my opinion, makes excellent kits with great instructions and customer service. I have built 20 of their kits - only one ship but lots of locomotives, trams, and train cars. You should be able to get some good advice here on SOS. A Facebook Page is also dedicated to folks building Occre projects - Occremania. You can also get lots of advice there on the specific models - how to's, do's and don'ts, etc.
