Hi Larry, welcome to the forum. I want to make you aware of the Tampa Bay Ship Model Society. We meet monthly except Dec. in St. Petersburg and have some members who come up from Venice and surrounding areas. The secretary produces a great newsletter that you might enjoy even if you don't attend the meetings. http://tampabayshipmodelsociety.org/ Our members range from beginners to professionals.

Welcome aboard, shipmate. I'm up in Gilchrist County, waaaaay out in the heather. I'm sure you'll enjoy your visits to the forum. You'll have access to some exceptionally talented and very friendly veteran model shipwrights.

Hello Guy, Thanks for the link to the club website. I recently moved here from CO where I was a member of the Rocky Mountain Shipwrights. I'm going to try to come down for the Jan meeting, if I can remember. :)
