Hey Up, hi guys (in the non gender sense). Originally from Yorkshire, UK, but now living in Dorset.
My first boat model was a messy Airfix Victory.
My first wooden ship was a Harvey kit, which I didn’t look after. Followed by a Caldercraft Endeavour and then the Deagostini Sovereign of the Seas, appalling materials (ie Bamboo) which I replaced. I then built the Admiral Perry and Bismarck with Pontos PE. Now I am back to wood and am attempting some of these amazing Chinese kits, that is the new Richard Bonhomme X-Section and the 1:160 enterprise sections. I am probably out of my depth, already but hey if you don’t try you’ll never know. Any who how, I love your forum and how you’re more tolerant.
