NEW OCCRE KIT ON THE HORIZON 8TH JUNE 2025

A classic of the America's Cup perhaps?
I hope not, as Amati have already released that kit and as far as I know it wasn't great and pretty much basic from a few modellers I know that built it.

The Amati endeavour give plenty rooms for a season modeler to make lots of improvements and tons of pics are online, i am doing the endeavour with most of all the features on the deck made from scratch

I'd be very interested in seeing some pics. Is the build log available online?

OK so it's the Endeavour... What do the experts say? From the presentation video, instructions look nice and there are precut sails. About the same size as the Amati one at about the same price. What else?

Right I'm no expert, but since I posted this thread here's my thoughts....
I'm just thinking it's a cheap easy option for Occre considering Amati has already released this kit. There are plenty of of other Ships out there that have never been touched or at least are out of Production a long long time ago. Am I being bias ? Probably a bit yes, this type of craft does absolutely nothing for me, zero interest historically and build wise.
I would much like to see a Dutch or French Ship of the line or even another British ship of the line. Frigates, Sloop of war, the possibilities are endless, to me these ships hold more historically and architecturally pleasing to the eye.
Again this just my own personal taste and what I love to build.

Apparently you have to join an Occre club to find out more about the kit.
Personally, it makes me very uninterested and I wonder if Occre will make a better kit than Amati.
Wonder if Occre's idea of withholding information about their models is smart marketing?
Occre has also started a complicated discount system, wonder if the average age in their marketing department is higher than on this forum. :)
