Thank you for allowing me to join what appears to be a great forum.
Model ship building is something I tried before, got overwhelmed, and went back to my woodworking hobby. Well, that won't do any more and I have convinced myself to do it again but, make sure to do it right.
I just received the Artesania Latina Virginia 1819 kit and, am setting up a spot to start on it soon. I have found some build logs of this ship that will be very useful and, plan on doing a log myself.
Again, thanks for letting me in and, I hope to be joining in the conversations soon.

Welcome Roger. Glad to have you join us. Always enjoyable to have a person that contributes to the forum.
Kits have improved a lot over the years. The main thing is to take your time and figure out how things go together and dry fit to see how they fit.
There are a lot of good people here and they can answer almost every question.
Hope you enjoy this forum as much as I do.
