What scale and the manufacture of the kit your RC project is? Or it might be a scratch build?

Thanks, I will come to you for any advice then. So far so good. Only real issue so far has been working around having a fixed keel frame. It made fixing the lower stem planks tricky.
Awesome! Keep posting your build log. Ask questions if you need. We welcome you to the forum. This kit will be a challenge for you but focus down on one part…one step…at a time and you will have a gorgeous finished model. I have the kit on my shelf plus a set of additional hull decorations. But it is a ways down on my list as I have other kits I want to build first. Don’t ask how I accumulated them. Long story. Anyway…I am almost finished the hull of the HMS Revenge 1577 Race built Galleon with masting a rigging yet to go…

Coming along nicely, only issue is that the wood materials that came with the model are terrible. Using Occre left overs.

Took a break from the Royal Caroline build whore modeling contest that is happening tomorrow. Here’s a few pics of my submissions.
