Hi All,
I have been doing some shopping on Bangood, just received a new Soldering Station with re-work gun along with an assortment of 10 tips and a cleaning station, this is something I have desired to have for quite a while. One reason being I won't have to borrow the one from work any more!!
The add on Bangood said the iron was 200 watt, I was very skeptical about this power claim. In my limited experience most of these soldering stations have up to a 70 watt iron.
I tested the iron today using one of the heavy ended tips that came with the 10 extra tips I was able to tin some 2.4 mm brass rod in no time, I was happily surprised by this.
So far I am very happy with this purchase.
Cheers,
Stephen.
