Hello, Everyone. Have dabbled in wooden ship modeling on and off (mostly off!) for a few decades, but never managed complete anything more advanced than some Midwest Productions Success Series offerings. Started on a Model Shipways Muscongus BY Lobster Smack not long ago, but that kit was so horribly executed that I shelved it and decided to never buy another Model Shipways kit ever again (unless it’s vintage, in which case it’s probably quality). Hoping to finally pull off a win with Falconet’s 1/48 Uvalen, which I acquired as my local hobby shop is going out of business.

I do a lot of plastic modeling and I also do stained glass. Here’s a ship I recently built:
