Hello everyone,

I'm a newbie here but I have see a lot of post and try to make the Halcon 1/100 from ali express.
I also have a bequine at my parents home I hope to try soon.

The kit is pretty cheap and I understand why.
So far it got a bit treaky on assembling the hull and the planks don't align perfectly (specialy on the front) but I hope a little filling and sanding will help.
Here are some picture of the boat so far.

I still don't know if I paint it, I kinda like how it looks and the planks alignement was better for the last planks
It took me a little while to bend and glue the planks,
I used an iron and a cup of water to bend each plank and kept them in place with clothes peg (my fingers for the last ones)

Hello everyone,

I made big mistakes which pretty much was hard to make up for but here is the hull now.
I sanded it and tried to stain it with black tea (it was too diluted but it was a good idea, I will try again)

Also, I sanded the low masts to enter the holes, it was easier and cleaner than I though !

Welcome, good work on the planking as the parts quality is pretty poor.
