No-Brand Halcon $40 kit. Small, but interesting

I beli

I believe that Dusek (Mamoli) is the only company making kits of the Roter Löwe currently.
Not having been involved much in recent memory with ship kits, is Dusek/Mamoli considered a good quality brand? Who else would be a good brand to look at, for kits going forward?

I like the Dusek kits and consider them of good quality. Dusek bought out the Mamoli company kits and not sell them under the Dusek name. Some kits feature laser etched wood parts which do a fair job simulating carving for stern decorations. USS Rattlesnake if of those. The wood in the kits is good hardwood too. The instructions are heavily based on drawings, and the drawings are very good. The best way to see what the kits offer it to browse the build logs and see the details. Dusek has a variety of ships, most of which are not made by other kit manufacturers. This diversity creates a lot more options.
