Since 15 years I try to lay my hand on the original drawings an on mondy I won them on Eb*y for an budget breaking price :-/

Here the drawings in more detail, so you can find the main problem of the boat - the we used to periscope wasn't invented! So the boat was armoured atop against revolver gun fire - Maschine gun also wasn't invented yet.

The technique to lower the funnels was allready there till the 70th* and the drawings doesn't show the exact mechanism to us:

As the Swedish engeneer went bancroupt by the lost of NORDENFELT IV there are no further drawings discovered till now - hopefully there may be some luck with the Steam Punk lovers.

as the boat was 38000mms long, the drawings at 333mm L.o.a. is closest to an 1/114,144 scale ratio.

So this a a pure drawing and construction project in it's infant days - then it may grow up?

Hope you do like this cruise into the very special items.

Hopefully we all so have fun,

Christian Heinrich
